Does the stamp arrive with ink?+
Yes. It arrives pre-inked with red ink and is ready to use immediately.
Do I need a separate ink pad?+
No. The ink pad is built into the body. Pressing the stamp applies ink automatically, and releasing it re-inks the plate.
How many impressions can it make?+
It is designed for thousands of impressions under normal use. Actual life varies with pressure, frequency, storage and the surface being stamped.
Can I add more ink later?+
Yes. When impressions become lighter, add a small amount of compatible red self-inking stamp ink to the internal pad, let it absorb, and test on scrap paper.
What size is the impression?+
The Amazon listing shows an approximate impression area of 36.2 × 13.3 mm (1.43 × 0.52 inches).
What surfaces work best?+
Ordinary paper and uncoated cardstock work best. Glossy, coated, wet or nonporous materials may cause smearing.
