Use steady downward pressure with one hand. Avoid twisting or sliding while the plate is touching the paper.
3. Release cleanly
Lift vertically and allow a moment for the impression to dry. The plate rotates back to the internal pad and is ready to use again.

Uneven pressure, a soft surface, or low ink can make one edge lighter. Test on scrap paper with the stamp held level.
